WAHO CONFERENCE, 2025

WAHO CONFERENCE, 2025
  • The West African Health Organization (WAHO) organized two key workshops in April and August aimed at strengthening health training and professional practice across the ECOWAS region. The April workshop focused on training health science educators on the use of digital tools for teaching and learning and the application of harmonized health curricula across Member States, equipping participants with practical skills to improve training quality and ensure consistent standards in health education. The August workshop brought together regional stakeholders to develop a harmonized procedure manual for health professionals, with the goal of standardizing professional practices, improving healthcare quality, strengthening collaboration, and supporting the mobility of health workers across countries.

Dr. Saliu, Founder of Not Dejected, participated actively in both workshops, contributing to technical discussions and reinforcing the organization’s commitment to innovation, capacity building, and the alignment of health training and professional practices with regional and international best standards.
