We honour every woman who wakes up each day determined to provide, protect, nurture, and guide her children despite the difficulties around her. Mothers remain the foundation of families and communities. Their sacrifices often go unseen, yet their impact shapes generations.
We also celebrate caregivers, guardians, widows, grandmothers, sisters, and every woman who continues to stand in the gap for others with compassion and courage. Your care keeps hope alive in many homes.
At Not Dejected Initiative, Mother’s Day is more than a celebration. It is a reminder of the urgent need to support vulnerable women, especially those living in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps and underserved communities.
Many women in these communities face enormous challenges including poverty, displacement, insecurity, limited access to healthcare, unemployment, trauma, and lack of educational opportunities for their children. Despite these realities, many mothers continue to fight for the survival and dignity of their families.
Our commitment remains focused on empowering women through community support, advocacy, educational interventions, humanitarian outreach, and empowerment programs designed to restore hope and dignity. We believe that when women are empowered, families become stronger and communities become more stable.
Through our interventions, we continue to support vulnerable women and children with resources, encouragement, and opportunities that help them rebuild their lives with confidence and purpose. We remain committed to creating spaces where women are heard, valued, supported, and equipped for a better future.
This Mother’s Day, we encourage everyone to show kindness, support vulnerable mothers, and stand for a society where no woman is forgotten, neglected, or left behind.
